A birthday party at Capen Hill offers a fun, educational, and memorable experience, providing a refreshing alternative to traditional party options. We provide a 45 minute animal program where children learn about the sanctuary and interact with the resident animals. We then take a 15 minute loop hike on Mountain Laurel Lane and Lady Slipper Valley to look for lollipops. The rest of the time is for cake, presents, piñatas, pizza ordered out or whatever you choose! The room is yours!

Additional details:
Cost: $200 for up to 12 children (all ages), additional kids are $10 per – We accept cash or credit card via paypal.
Dates: You can book a weekend day or after school (3pm/4pm – 6pm)
What to Bring: All decorations including paper goods, tablecloths, food, or whatever you wish.
We provide: Tables, Chairs, Animal Program, Lollipops/Hike
There is a hook for a piñata!
We do parties rain, shine or snow. If weather does not cooperate we will hide pops inside.
Spaces Available
Visitor Center Library
Our Library in the Visitor Center is available are year-long and the most convenient location for the Animal Program and Lollipop hike. The Library is home to a handful of our animal residents which makes for a neat party environment. It’s fit with 3 tables, 2 foldable tables, 20 padded chairs and one bathroom down the hall. There is also a good-sized viewing patio attached with 2 Adirondack chairs in the warmer months.
Nature Niche at our Barn
Our ‘Nature Niche’ is an open-air gathering room attached to our antique barn and is a short walk up to the Visitor Center where the animal program and hike are held. It is equipped with 2 large circular tables inside with 14 chairs, 3 bathrooms, a laundry sink, fridge & freezer, and 6 picnic tables outside. This option is only available in the warmers months from May to October but is perfect for parties with ample space for the kids to run around!
